After much research as a group we made a short stop motion animation film. This film features a man beginning in London, then travelling to France, then walking to Italy, then flying to the moon, then jumping down to Australia and finally arriving in Korea and dancing to Gangam style.
This took us an hour to plan, 3 hours to shoot and an hour to edit. Over 340 images were taken and put into a sequence at 10 frames a second, resulting in 34 seconds of footage.
Using the white board and paper figure to start with was easier to manage than beginning with a plasticine model which would have been difficult to manage and keep together, plus we only had 3 hours to take pictures. This way we could easily add and taken away the scenes we wanted and keep the main character the same.
Overall I think we did well as a group and this practice will benefit massively when we do our later project.
